JESSICA CAHEN, M.S., CHN, CMES

Hi, I’m Jessica– busy wife, mom of two sweet kiddos (and two crazy doggos!), and owner of Perfectionist Health. My in-person fitness and health & wellness practice is based out of Columbus, OH. 

I earned a Masters Degree of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2001 from Ohio University. Over the last 20 years of practice, my love of knowledge and the desire to help my clients address complex issues motivated me to earn several additional certifications in the health and wellness field, including the designations of Holistic Nutritionist and Medical Exercise Specialist. 

I’ve seen first-hand the power that simple improvements in lifestyle can have on restoring balance to the body and even reversing disease.  If there’s one thing I’ve learned over these last two decades, it’s this:  Successfully creating any positive change requires a smart, effective strategy.  As a thinker and a problem-solver, I love to use my super-nerd strengths to devise a powerful solution to any challenge.

I’ve had the privilege to help hundreds of clients improve their lives through unique, highly-customized fitness and wellness plans–to sleep better, lose weight, create pain-free movement, and more.  As my client, I’ll work closely with you to create customized strategies that work for you, seamlessly fitting into your life. I provide science and physiology-based information and resources you can add to your toolbox to create your own, perfect health & wellness strategies that keep you feeling healthy, happy, relaxed, and confident. 

In my own life, my primary goal is to keep my family (and myself!) healthy and thriving. With busy days and a hectic family schedule, even I need simple, effective tools and strategies that I can work into my daily routine to keep everyone at their best!

After 20 years of helping hundreds of clients nail their fitness and wellness goals in my own consulting practice, I’ve drawn on all of my knowledge and experience, both as a practitioner and as a mom, to create a set of online courses and tools that can help anyone & everyone custom-build their own Personal Health Strategy.

Whether it’s building a better eating strategy, a strategic exercise plan to relieve joint and muscle pain, better sleep, weight loss, better digestive health, or hormone balance, I founded Perfectionist Health out of my passion to provide Simple Tools For Better Health to everyone.
